Over our three day weekend my parents went on a cruise to Ensenada, Mexico. Unfortunately I had to stay home, but it wasn’t all that bad. My Great Aunt Joan picked me up from my school along with my sister afterwards. We went home and did our homework… or rather, my homework. My 4 year-old cousin Aiden came over and hung out with us for dinner, which was pizza. We went to bed and woke up at about 10:30 am. We went to the mall and I got a cute pair of gray skinny jeans and saw my friend Amanda and her friend Hannah. We got back to Aunt Joan’s house at 3:00 pm and my always-late, Uncle Bill arrived at 3:50. We all went to the movies where Aunt Joan and my sister, Megan went to go see Hotel for Dogs and Uncle Bill and I went to go see the Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which was really good! It was much heavier than I expected it to be and I enjoyed it very much. The next day we watched movies all day at Aunt Joan’s house and ate Mcdonald’s for dinner. My parents came home on Monday, January 19th. It was a very nice weekend!

You know this movie is so cool and I can’t help but say that my favorite character is the bad guy, the Joker. I have 2 pictures of him on my school binder and 2 t-shirts with his face. I don’t know why I really like him and not the good guy-Batman- but I do… it’s wierd. You’re probably thinking it’s because I liked Heath Ledger. Well the answer to that question is yes, I do like Heath Ledger a lot, but him and the Joker are two different people, in a way. I like both but separtely. I’ve been asked that question a lot when I tell people that I really like the Joker. Anyway, just thought I’d say that.

Well if you haven’t already read, I didn’t like my 2008 so much- but in the media, well that’s a different story. I liked and disliked lots of things in 2008’s entertainment category. There were happy, sad, awesome, and lots of other things last year. Haha! Saying last year and talking about 2008 sounds funny… I’ll have to get used to that.

Yayyy!!! I got a new cousin on November 1st 2008, a boy named Nethaniel but we call him Nate or Nathan. He is the baby brother to my other cousin Emily who is 4 years old. my aunt and uncle Andy and Heather are the proud parents to this adorable baby. On Christmas he slept half the time but the pocket of time he was awake he had his brown eyes wide open and even smiled a couple of times. This little boy’s neck is like rubber. Everytime I (or anyone else for that matter) held him he would bend his neck so it looked like it was broken, it was kind of gross when you saw it. It was funny, you could put his head upright and almost immediately it would fall back into his “broken” position. Mr. Fantastic neck or not, I love him to pieces!

Happy New Year Everyone!
Happy New Year everyone! I think 2008 wasn’t the best year… in fact it kind of sucked. The best things about it were me culminating form the 5th grade- and all the fun things we get to do that go along with my culmination- meeting my new baby cousin, Nate and hearing about my new 2nd cousin in Colorado, Gabriel. Thats about it, other than that it was kind of a downer. There were lots of good and bad things in the media this year too, if you want to see my Best of List 2008 see that post. I hope that everybody has a fantastic and prosperous New Year. We made it to 2009!!!!

This woman is truly amazing! I just seem to notice her in and out in so many things. Her new short hair has made such a trend. I’m planning on cutting it like that again. It was that short right before it came in style, and I wanted long because everyone had it. My parents told me to “blaze my own trail” and keep it like that but I insisted on long hair. As soon as it got to shoulder length she cut it and everyone went crazy for it and chopped all of their hair off. First a bob, then a bob with bangs (Demi Lavato started that trend by the way) and then super short hair. And P!nk has the same thing I love her hair too. I have to say I love the super short hair. I think I’m gonna cut it again before it goes out. I may have to act quickly though before it goes out of style! Any way, I love her songs I just think she is so talented and should be recognized!!
